The Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) developed by Stephan Typaldos, describes how the structure of connective tissue (the fascia) can be deformed or distorted through injury causing functional problems.
The FDM method can be used:
- for sport injuries including sprains and distortions
- for acute complaints. For example, blockages in spinal segments or in the joints
- for chronic symptoms that cause restrictions in mobility
